Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 1, 2026 (2026-09-01 09:50:50) Last Updated: September 1, 2026
MobApp ("we", "us", or "our") respects and protects your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the Android applications published and operated by MobApp through Google Play (collectively, "our Apps")—including utilities such as Phone Locator GPS Location and related tools—and explains how information is collected, used, shared, retained, and safeguarded.
Not every App published by MobApp utilizes all of the features, device permissions, or third-party SDKs described in this Policy. Actual data practices depend entirely on the specific functionality of each App and how you choose to interact with it. Where an individual App provides supplemental in-app notices or just-in-time permission prompts, those disclosures supplement and should be read together with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Automatically Collect
When you interact with our Apps, we or integrated third-party service providers may automatically process technical and diagnostic data to ensure stability, provide core services, and support ad monetization:
-
Device & Hardware Information: Device model, manufacturer, operating system version, CPU architecture, screen resolution, language settings, and country/region.
-
Network & Connectivity Data: IP address, general network type (e.g., Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G), mobile carrier, and approximate location derived from IP.
-
App Identifiers & Usage: App version, package name, session duration, user interaction metrics, feature usage, and the Android Advertising ID (GAID) (where permitted and accessible).
-
Diagnostic & Performance Logs: Crash reports, Application Not Responding (ANR) events, memory usage statistics, and performance diagnostics.
Note on Identifiers: We do not collect non-resettable hardware identifiers (such as hardware IMEI or MAC addresses) for advertising or tracking purposes, in strict adherence to Google Play policies.
2. Information You Voluntarily Provide
Depending on how you use our Apps, you may choose to provide certain information directly to us:
-
Customer Support & Communications: When contacting us at
mobappstar.Operation@outlook.com, you may provide your email address, name, device model, and a description of your issue or feedback. -
In-App Configurations: Custom settings you configure within our Apps (e.g., custom caller themes, personalized dialer styles, ringtone preferences, or search queries).
We process voluntarily submitted information solely to fulfill the relevant request or functionality.
3. Device Permissions
Our Apps request device permissions only when strictly necessary to deliver specific features. You may revoke or manage these permissions at any time via your Android system settings (Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Permissions).
|
Permission Category |
Associated Feature & Technical Purpose |
|
Location (Coarse / Fine) |
Used exclusively where location-based features are active (e.g., displaying approximate network location, geographic area codes, or location search queries). |
|
Phone State & Call Log (Conditional) |
Used solely where an App includes caller display, call identification helpers, or dialer management features, strictly to render in-app call-screen personalization or identify incoming area codes. |
|
Contacts (Conditional) |
Used only when caller screen personalization or contact-specific caller themes are selected by the user to associate visual styles with specific entries locally. |
|
Storage / Media Access |
Enables selecting, previewing, and setting custom local wallpapers, ringtones, or themes on your device. |
|
Notifications |
Displays service status, feature updates, incoming utility alerts, and essential app notifications. |
4. Local Processing vs. Cloud Transmission
-
Local On-Device Processing: Wherever possible, our Apps process sensitive user content (such as call state styling, contact association, and custom wallpaper files) strictly on your device. Such content is not uploaded to or stored on our external servers.
-
Cloud Transmission: Only anonymized diagnostic logs, crash reports, standard ad request tokens, and necessary analytic events are transmitted over encrypted protocols (HTTPS/TLS) to our servers or authorized third-party SDK endpoints.
5. How We Use Your Information
We process collected information under valid legal bases for the following purposes:
-
Delivering Core Functionalities: Enabling caller identification helpers, custom dialer/screen personalization, and location-utility modules.
-
Maintenance and Bug Diagnostics: Monitoring app health, analyzing crash/ANR logs, and fixing defects via telemetry.
-
Advertising & Monetization: Displaying contextually relevant or personalized ads, calculating ad performance, controlling ad frequency, and preventing invalid traffic or click fraud.
-
Security & Fraud Prevention: Detecting malicious activity, unauthorized access, and compliance violations.
-
Legal Compliance: Fulfilling legal obligations and enforcing our terms of service.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) provides you with specific rights:

-
No Monetary Sale: We do not sell your personal information for direct monetary consideration.
-
Sharing / Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising: Disclosing online identifiers to advertising networks may qualify as "sharing" or processing for targeted advertising under California law. You may opt out of such sharing by adjusting your in-app privacy settings (UMP), managing device-level ad settings, or emailing us.
-
Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
10. In-App Purchases and Billing
Certain Apps may provide optional in-app purchases, subscriptions, or premium features. All financial transactions are processed securely through the Google Play In-App Billing system. We do not collect, process, or store complete payment card numbers or banking information on our servers.
